Banana and Blueberry Porridge with rijo42 Vanilla Syrup

A winter warmer without the guilt..
With all this bad weather Storm Ciara has thrown at us over the last few days, we thought you’d need something warm to start your day off right.
It goes perfectly with your morning rijo42 coffee too!

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 and a half cups of oat milk
  • 3/4’s of a cup of rolled oats
  • 1 chopped banana
  • 1 handful blueberries
  • 3 tbsp of rijo42 vanilla syrup

Method:

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the oat milk to the boil.
  2. Stir in the rolled oats and reduce the heat to a simmer once mixed in completely. Simmer until the oat milk is absorbed – cook with the lid off the saucepan. (Should take approximately 5-7 minutes.)
  3. Transfer the porridge into a bowl and stir some rijo42 syrup in.
  4. Top with chopped banana, a handful of blueberries and another sprinkle of rijo42 vanilla syrup.
