rijo42 is proud to be supporting a ladies charity evening in aid of Breast Cancer on Tuesday 19th March at Victoria Inn (Fanny’s) in Bolton.
All money raised will be donated to Boot Out Breast Cancer and will ultimately be used to purchase mastectomy bra kits for NHS Royal Bolton Breast Unit. Local businesses are working in partnership to support the evening, in a bid to raise as much money as possible for this great cause.
The evening has been organised by Emma of Aura Spa & Beauty Therapy in Bolton. Emma is a close personal friend of rijo42 Managing Director, Lynn, who was more than happy to help when approached about the event. Aura client and friend, Linda Reynard has also generously donated her time to assist Emma with organisation of the event.
The venue for the event is rijo42 customer, Victoria Inn. Kindly donating the use of their facilities for the evening, Victoria Inn will also be providing Prosecco upon arrival and delicious canapés for guests to enjoy.
Local businesses will have stalls on the evening selling an array of lovely products to help raise funds. Stallholders include Stella & Dot, Silk By Lauren, Aura Spa & Beauty Therapy including live demonstrations, One Boutique, Cocos Fashion Roadshows, and Zenith Art. Debbie Dowie, founder of Boot Out Breast Cancer and wife of ex-footballer, football manager and sports pundit Iain Dowie, will also be speaking on the evening about how funds raised assist with research into Breast Cancer. There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes kindly donated by all of the stallholders. A rijo42 Uno home coffee machine gift pack will also be up for grabs.
Tickets are priced at £10 and are available from the Victoria Inn and Aura. Ticket price includes a glass of prosecco, canapés, goody bag and raffle ticket. 100% of ticket sales and 10% of product sales on the evening will be donated to Boot Out Breast Cancer. The evening promises to be great and is for such a wonderful cause.
rijo42 has worked with Boot Out Breast Cancer previously, sponsoring the BMF Gun Run in September 2011. We provided design, promotional and marketing support leading up to the event and had a stall on the day selling speciality coffees. We took along two of our trusty Brasil Bean to Cup Coffee Machines and our coffee proved to be a big hit with both with participants and spectators. rijo42 donated the use of the commercial coffee machines, coffee beans and ingredients along with several members of rijo42 donating their time on the day to assist at the event. All proceeds from coffee sales were donated to Boot Out Breast Cancer and the event raised £4658.00 in total and we were proud to be a part of it.
