There’s no better combination than coffee and chocolate in our book and this heavenly blend of rijo42 gourmet espresso, hot steamed milk and chocolate is a firm favourite, the sweet undertone of caramel adds an extra indulgent dimension.
Prepare rijo42 Espresso in the bottom of a warm latte glass following how to make the perfect Espresso
Pour required shots of both Chocolate and Caramel flavoured coffee syrups into the bottom of a steaming jug (1 x 10ml shot of each syrup per 9oz or 10oz Chocolate Caramel Latte and 2 x 10ml shots of each for 12oz and above).
Add required amount of milk to steaming jug and froth following how to froth milk.
Using a spatula to hold back the froth, pour the steamed milk into a warm latte glass until around 2/3 full.
Remove the spatula from the milk jug and top the glass up with milk froth by shaking the jug or spooning it on top, stop adding froth about an inch from the top of the glass.
As it’s an Easter recipe, finish it in style by topping with a generous helping of whipped cream, mini marshmallows and chocolate shavings.

This recipe can also be made with any of our commercial coffee machines. Simply add the syrups into the bottom of a latte glass, place the glass under the dispense head of your bean to cup coffee machine and press the Caffe Latte selection button. Top with cream, mini marshmallows and chocolate shavings.
